When we first start working with clients, sometimes they find it beneficial for us – as an unbiased professional communication firm – to come in and analyze all aspects of their marketing, branding and messaging. In those cases, we’ve found a great place to start is through the combination of a client-completed custom survey, mediated brainstorming session(s) to review the answers and then the preparation of a document summarizing the findings and listing the recommended action items or next steps.
Customized multi-question survey covering several categories relating to the positioning and marketing
Moderation of an approximately 2-hour session (or multiple sessions) to discuss survey results and review answers
Preparation of document summarizing key findings and bullet point list of suggested next steps
A less formal approach to marketing consulting would be on an as-needed or case-by-case basis which would be charged by the specific project (if project parameters can be defined) or on an hourly basis through the purchase of an hourly block as described below.
