African Community & Conservation Foundation
African Community & Conservation Foundation (ACCF) is a nonprofit foundation focused on preserving Africa’s wildlife by raising awareness and funding for key conservation projects and transformative community programs carried out in Africa. They align with nonprofit funds and trusts located in Africa to carry out their impactful work.
Fuzzy Duck has been a creative marketing partner of ACCF for several years, designing their logo, website, and providing ongoing marketing support in the areas of social media, motion graphics, and visual design.
Showcasing Key Initiatives
In 2021, ACCF was looking to expand its foundation website and establish an updated site structure that would remain manageable as the organization grew. Our custom WordPress development showcased their mission and initiatives while highlighting their extensive network of partners.
The website serves as a central hub for ACCF’s activities, providing key visibility into their conservation efforts, community development projects, and partnerships with various organizations. The site is being continually updated through custom functionality that pulls in news updates from their strategic partners. High-quality photos throughout the site celebrate the vibrant and meaningful change ACCF strives to bring about in the world. Finally, prominent “donate” buttons make it easy for web visitors to contribute financially to these efforts.
Engaging Their Community
Fuzzy Duck currently manages ACCF’s Facebook and Instagram on an ongoing basis. In addition to utilizing curated stock images, we’re lucky enough to create posts from ACCF’s collection of high-quality wildlife photos and portraits. We engage with ACCF’s followers and strategic partners on their behalf, while also posting on a consistent basis.
Short-form motion graphic videos produced for ACCF’s social media attracts viewers in a way static posts alone could not. With the rise of video content, we’ve worked to weave motion graphics and video into our social strategies. As part of these reels, ACCF’s animated logo punctuates each creation, building brand recognition and providing a consistent and strong closing.
Portraying Their Mission
Through our logo design process and in collaboration with ACCF board members, we developed a shared understanding of the desired direction of their visual brand. It was important that we represent the full spectrum of their work, encompassing their environmental, wildlife, and humanitarian initiatives. You can see the ideation and decision-making process playing out in this collection of presented concepts. It took many iterations to get it just right!
Uniting Brand Elements
Throughout the years, we’ve developed a number of branded print materials for ACCF, including business cards, post cards, and event materials. In each piece, we adhere to the brand guidelines we initially developed for them by maintaining consistent fonts, colors, logo use, and in-brand image selection.
We’ve developed an additional digital design element that showcases their partnerships relative to their projects. It’s currently used on their website to proudly present ACCF’s strategic partners.
