Every great mascot starts with a great concept. Fleet Core arrived at Fuzzy Duck’s door with exactly that. Their beloved family dog, Diesel, was already a natural fit for the brand. They had early ideas sketched out, but wanted to push the concept further and turn him into something truly ownable.
We started by getting to know Diesel. Through conversations with the Fleet Core team, we built a clear picture of his character: a strong, confident presence balanced by a genuinely friendly disposition, and a training background that speaks for itself. That foundation shaped every creative decision that followed.
From there, we developed an illustration style that captures who Diesel really is. Approachable and assured, with just enough personality to stop a scroll or anchor a sign. To maximize his versatility across applications, we created a suite of poses that let him show up wherever the brand needs him, from vehicle wraps and signage to social media and beyond.
His wardrobe was designed with the same intentionality. A classic bandana and shades for the casual moments, a baseball cap for everyday presence, and full safety gear including a hard hat and safety glasses. That last look is a nod to the hardworking customers Fleet Core serves in the field every day.
The result is a mascot that doesn’t just look good. He works hard. Diesel is a brand asset built for consistency and range, as ready for a job site as he is for an Instagram post. He isn’t just a cute logo. He’s Fleet Core, rendered in fur and attitude.
