Fuzzy Duck’s Flexible Approach to Client Budgets

Marketing strategies and budgets are flexible, adjustable, and can grow with your business. When first starting out, your marketing budget might be relatively small which results in trying some cost-driven strategies as you work to get your name out there.

At Fuzzy Duck, we pride ourselves on our ability to think strategically, creatively, and economically. We are not afraid to get creative with unique solutions. We understand that when it comes to budgets, there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to things. And it’s this flexibility that allows Fuzzy Duck to adapt our services to meet a wide range of company budgets. Oftentimes, we can adjust the solutions, approach, and deliverables to maximize your desired goals at different price points.

We love working with small, medium, and start-up companies because we’re a small business too! We understand the incredible highs and challenging lows that can come with the journey of business ownership. Fuzzy Duck knows each business goes through different seasons and we want to help you achieve your goals no matter what season you’re in.

Our Flexible Approaches

When it comes to our creative services, there’s several different ways we approach pricing. It is usually determined by how much info we have about the project, its size, length, turnaround and also the client’s individual preference and budget. Our primary goal is to ensure that every client receives superior value and fair pricing on each project they use us for. The most cost effective solution for most clients is actually a combination of several if not all the options listed below.

Ongoing Monthly Retainer

This approach is typically used with longer anticipated engagements (six months or longer) that address one or several client needs, such as social media management, brand standardization, messaging consulting, or ongoing design support. The monthly retainer allows Fuzzy Duck to provide these services over a longer period of time within a set monthly budget amount. The level or amount of work being performed can be adjusted to match nearly any reasonable amount and is usually set by the client themself. Services and pricing are reviewed every three months to ensure a healthy, mutually beneficial relationship.

Budget-Driven or Set Project-Based Pricing

Whenever possible, we like to establish a set price, range, or budget for a project ahead of time so the client can confirm and agree to the pricing. As long as the specific parameters and deliverables can be established and remain the same through the project, we stick to that quoted price. This is usually best for medium, large, or longer term projects.

Pre-Purchased Hourly Blocks

For smaller or quick-turn projects or general creative support, many of our clients utilize our services on an as-needed basis using our pre-purchased hourly blocks. This type of working relationship provides the client with a competitive hourly rate. Hourly blocks are paid in advance and expire twelve months after purchase.  Once an hourly block is used up, the client is provided with a report on where the time was spent and will have the opportunity to purchase another block. Individual time blocks may be purchased and “shared” across any of our service categories or departments which makes them ideal for long term general support.

Conclusion

When you work with us, know that you’re working with top talent who understands budgets and offers the flexibility to work within virtually any reasonable budget. We developed our approaches to pricing because we love working with small and medium-sized businesses who are looking to grow. It’s important to us to provide you with high-quality service at a fair price. To learn more about Fuzzy Duck’s unique approach to doing business, visit the “Our Process” page of our site.
