Heritage Preservation Board

Fuzzy Duck was contacted by the Wayzata Heritage Preservation Board to help create a stronger visual brand including an updated logo. The Fuzzy Duck team designed a new logo and helped clarify their messaging by simplifying it into the tagline “Remember • Restore • Revitalize” which was included in the logo design.

The updated logo features an illustrated image of the historic train depot in a style reminiscent of a vintage advertising poster. Fuzzy Duck proposed the idea to establish a series of secondary images featuring different historic landmarks throughout Wayzata. The board chose the buildings that were to be used which were the Bank Building on Lake Street, the Post Office, the American Legion, and the Section Foreman’s House.
