Boyer Building Corporation
A Lot of History to Honor, and a Lot of Work to Do
Boyer Building Corporation had years of projects, portfolio pages, and blog content living on their existing site. That’s a good problem to have, but it also meant this wasn’t a simple build from scratch. The new site needed to carry everything forward without losing a thing. Fuzzy Duck migrated 538 blog posts and 45 portfolio pages into a new, enhanced environment, ensuring proper redirects were in place and nothing fell through the cracks.
The portfolio itself presented its own layer of complexity. Photos needed to be tagged and organized so they could appear on individual home remodel pages while simultaneously being pulled into room-specific galleries like kitchens and bathrooms. A dynamic linking system between projects made that possible, and the result is a browsing experience that feels naturally intuitive even though a lot of careful architecture is working behind the scenes.
This project also involved a larger team than most. Three Fuzzy Ducks collaborated throughout, while working with Boyer’s marketing manager and the owner. Keeping everyone aligned across multiple schedules and work streams required extra coordination and a constant commitment to clarity.
Building Something That Lasts
We built for the whole experience. The redesigned site features a clean, contemporary layout built on WordPress, optimized for every screen size and device. New service pages cover custom homes, commercial projects, and remodels. The About section was streamlined. The team page was refreshed with an improved layout. Before-and-after photo sliders bring remodel transformations to life in a way a static gallery never could.
We wrote to fill the gaps. Copywriting was woven throughout the project, supplementing Boyer’s existing content to ensure every page delivered a well-rounded experience that matched their brand voice. Strong content also laid the groundwork for improved SEO and local search visibility with optimized metadata and a refined sitemap built in from the start.
We drove for clarity at every turn. With multiple collaborators involved and a project this size, communication was everything. When something was unclear, we asked. When expectations needed to be set, we set them. That commitment to transparency kept the project moving and the finished product on point.

A Site Worth Showing Off
The finished Boyer Building Corporation website is something the whole team is proud of. It looks great, it performs well, and it reduces the content duplication work that had created friction in the past. The dynamic project linking system in particular is a meaningful improvement, making it easier for Boyer’s team to manage the site going forward and easier for prospective clients to find exactly what they’re looking for.
This project also sharpened how Fuzzy Duck approaches complex builds. We came out of it with stronger processes for scoping deliverables, coordinating internal handoffs, and managing client expectations across every stage of a project.
For established businesses with a rich history and ambitious goals, a few things drive a successful website project.
Migration is as important as design. A beautiful new site means nothing if years of content, SEO equity, and portfolio work don’t make the transition intact.
Smart architecture creates better experiences. Thoughtful organization behind the scenes is what makes a large portfolio feel effortless to browse.
Clear communication is the foundation of complex projects. The more people involved, the more intentional that communication has to be. Getting everyone on the same page isn’t a soft skill. It’s a project requirement.
Built from the Ground Up
At the heart of everything we do is partnership. We thrive on working with collaborative partners who value the design process as much as the final product, and we’re especially energized by new concepts that challenge us to push boundaries and explore new creative territory. Every project is an opportunity to grow, experiment, and create something truly unforgettable.
If you’re looking for a design partner who will champion your vision and won’t rest until it’s brought to life in the right way, we’d love to hear from you.
