Farmer’s Kitchen + Bar
We let their voice lead.
One of the first things you notice about Farmer’s Kitchen + Bar is that they know exactly who they are. Their in-store posters, their tone, their whole presence has a personality that’s refreshingly original. As a team that thinks about branding every day, we recognize that quality when we see it. Our job wasn’t to reinvent anything. It was to amplify what was already there.
We helped people find them.
Postcard mailers went out to highlight Farmer’s cafe, happy hour, dine-in, and takeout offerings, putting the brand directly in the hands of the community they were trying to reach. The message was simple: fresh, local, Minnesota-grown food is right here waiting for you.
We brought in reinforcements.
Getting the word out in a crowded city requires more than traditional advertising. We partnered with a specialist to help identify the right influencers for Farmer’s audience, then coordinated the outreach and provided content guidelines in-house to make sure every post felt true to the brand. The goal was captivating content that showed Farmer’s true colors, not a polished ad campaign that felt like it could belong to anyone.
We built and maintain their digital home.
Fuzzy Duck developed the Farmer’s Kitchen + Bar website and continues to update their menus across all offerings on an ongoing basis. For a restaurant with as many moving parts as Farmer’s, having a reliable partner to keep the digital side current means one less thing for their team to manage.
We showed up.
Great marketing needs great visuals, and for a restaurant, nothing does more work than photography that makes people hungry. We’ve produced four photoshoots for Farmer’s Kitchen + Bar (so far!), capturing everything from menu features to an atmosphere that makes FKB worth visiting. Whether a business needs a single, focused session or an ongoing visual library, Fuzzy Duck can coordinate shoots at any scale.
We Love Local Businesses
There’s something important about choosing to support a local business. Downtown Minneapolis needed new energy, and Farmer’s Kitchen + Bar brought it. Being part of that launch, and continuing to support their growth, is exactly the kind of work Fuzzy Duck is here to do.
For local businesses navigating a complicated launch, a few things make the difference.
Authenticity can’t be manufactured. Farmer’s had a real voice before we ever got involved. The best creative partnerships recognize what’s already working and build around it rather than over it.
Community awareness requires a real strategy. Word of mouth is powerful, but it needs a spark. A combination of print, digital, and influencer outreach gave Farmer’s multiple ways to reach new customers at once.
Ongoing support matters as much as the launch. A great opening is just the beginning. Keeping menus current, messaging consistent, and the website working smoothly is the behind-the-scenes work that keeps a growing restaurant looking like it has everything together, because it does.
Fuzzy Duck is proud to be in Farmer’s corner, and we’re just getting started.
