East Central University

We love working with Colleges and Universities as they often provide challenges and perspectives that are both unique and rewarding. We have been fortunate to work with East Central University for several years now. Originally providing Drupal 7 development, maintenance services, and general website support, we are thrilled to have been selected as their partner on a full site redesign and development.

The project consisted of a complete redesign and migration of their previous Drupal 7 site to Drupal 8. This brought a full spectrum of opportunities and challenges to the project. Not only is Drupal 8 a major rewrite of the powerful content management system, but it is also a fundamental shift in how content is stored and presented. This requires a new approach to the architecture, modules, tools, and workflows that have been a proven success in the past. Thanks to a collective effort of ECU and our dedicated design and development team we were able to push through and create a new online presence that was not only a better presentation of the client’s brand and messaging but is easier to use, manage, and market.
